Celebrating Myrtle Blankenbuehler
Longtime WACC member, Myrtle Blankenbuehler was one of our guests of honor at the December 2022 meeting and helped us celebrate our 130th anniversary as a club.
Myrtle played a pivotal role in the club’s history.
In 2006, Myrtle led the effort for the Woman’s Art Club to purchase Resthaven Barn from Mariemont City Council who were planning to sell the land to a developer. Myrtle persisted and the club formed the Foundation to purchase, restore and run the property we now know as “The Barn”.
Myrtle was presented with an engraved vase from the club in appreciation of her work.
