The Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati is the oldest existing women’s art club, operating without interruption, in the United States. Its annual exhibition showcases fine artworks produced by women from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
The exhibition will be held in the main gallery of the Woman’s Art Club Cultural Center (The Barn) in Mariemont, Ohio.
Across media, jurors will focus on craftsmanship, color, and composition with an emphasis on diversity in style and subject.
Criteria for accepted works include excellence in design, creativity and mastery of medium.
IMPORTANT DATES
• Wednesday, March 4th, at midnight – Deadline for entries on CaFÉ
• Saturday, March 14th – Notice of acceptance email
• Wednesday, April 1st, 4-6 PM, Thursday, April 2nd, 10 AM – Noon – Hand-delivery dates (no shipping accepted)
• Sunday, April 12th, 1-4 PM (awards presented at 2 PM) – Gallery reception and awards ceremony
• Sunday, May 3rd, 1-3 PM – Artwork pickup date
• Gallery hours: Noon – 3 PM daily; closed Wednesday
Eligibility
• Women, at least 18 years of age, who reside in Ohio, Indiana, or Kentucky.
Entry Requirements
• Total Entries: Minimum 1, Maximum 2 (only one may be accepted); submit up to two digital high-resolution JPEG entries online via CaFÉ. Images cannot include frames.

• Entry submission deadline is Wednesday, March 4th, at midnight.
• Entries must be delivered in person (no shipping).
• Entries must be original concepts and designs, NOT created in an instructional setting, such as workshops or art classes.
• Entry fee is $50 for current WACC members in good standing; $65 for non-members. There is no additional fee for a second entry.
• Pay through CaFÉ at the end of your submission. Fees are non-refundable, and there is no guarantee of acceptance into this exhibit.
• Online payments: Major credit cards, debit cards, or PayPal are accepted.
• Payment by check: Indicate on the application that you intend to pay by check. Make check payable to WACC and send to: The Barn, Attention: Annual Juried Exhibition, 6980 Cambridge Avenue, Mariemont, OH 45227. Checks must be received by Thursday, March 5th for consideration.
Artwork Requirements
• Work must be for sale. WACC will collect a 20% commission on sales.
• Work must have been created within the last 3 years and not shown previously in a juried exhibition.
• Computer-generated artwork will not be accepted.
• Photography entries cannot be digitally enhanced, manipulated, or altered.
• Work must be professionally presented.
• 2-D pieces require wired frames or gallery wrapping at least 1.5” inches deep—no sawtooth hangers.
• Wall art, including the frame, cannot exceed 40” x 40”.
• 3-D artwork must be able to sit atop a pedestal measuring 20” x 20” x 39”.
• Small items such as jewelry must include display props that fit in a locked case.
LIABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• By submitting artwork to the WACC 133rd Juried Art Exhibition, the artist acknowledges and agrees that she:
– Has read and agrees to all entry and artwork requirements.
– Releases rights for use of images of her artwork on the virtual gallery and in any WACC promotional and marketing materials.
– Picks up her unsold artwork per schedule. Any artwork remaining at The Barn after May 31, 2026, becomes the property of the Woman’s Art Club of Cincinnati.
