Elizabeth's Bio

Elizabeth Rohrbaugh is a realistic painter and art educator who is most known for her watercolor and oil paintings.

After full careers in corporate R&D and at Miami University, Elizabeth began focusing primarily on her own work in 2020, painting home and pet commissions in addition to watercolor florals and landscapes.

A longing for artistic like-minded community prompted Elizabeth to seek out local women artists to form the Women’s Art Club of Hamilton, and she considers it one of her highest endeavors.

In addition to WACH, Elizabeth is often found leading watercolor retreats and takes great pleasure in enabling others to explore watercolor and encourage them on their own artistic journey.

Her current work focuses on color, contrast and slowing down to capture the true beauty of her subjects. Intricate brushstrokes combined with a bit of abstraction lends an organic realness to her work, while maintaining rich, creative expression. Her work can be found in private and corporate collections across the Unites States.
